Job description

The post holder will: Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation and promote these on day to -day basis. Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. Use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their work and the service they provide to patients. Assess clients with physical disabilities in the community and plan and implement treatment interventions under the supervision of a more senior Occupational Therapist. Liaise with other health and social care professionals, families/carers, statutory and voluntary organisations to enable people to contribute to live/return to their homes. Contribute to the supervision of assistant staff and students. Work within the services quality standards and observe the policies and procedures of the Trust. Assist in any other duties that may be required to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the service.
