Job description

Office Manager £32,000 - £35,000 | Full Time | Permanent Reed Business Support are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business within the construction sector in their search for an experienced Office Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional who is looking to make a real impact within a dynamic business environment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and wider business operations. Key Responsibilities As Office Manager, your duties will include: • Overseeing and coordinating all general office operations and administrative functions. • Managing Human Resources activities, supported by external HR consultants (currently Citation). • Liaising with and overseeing external IT providers, as well as managing office hardware requirements. • Supporting client account management alongside the Helpdesk Supervisor, Compliance Manager and General Manager. • Managing office facilities and supplier relationships, including utilities and telecoms providers. • Assisting with Health & Safety administration and compliance, with support from external consultants (currently Citation). • Providing leadership and support to the Helpdesk Supervisor, Compliance Manager and Planner. About You The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Senior Administrator or Operations Administration role. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • The confidence to liaise with both internal teams and external service providers. • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. • Experience within a construction, engineering or service-based environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
