The Role As the Resident Optometrist, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional clinical care whilst creating an outstanding patient experience from the moment each customer enters the consulting room. Working closely with an experienced Store Manager and retail team, you'll provide expert clinical advice, support colleagues with optical knowledge and help patients find the most appropriate visual solutions for their lifestyle. This role offers the opportunity to work in a relaxed environment where personalised care is valued above rushed appointments. Key Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive eye examinations. • Recommend the most appropriate spectacle lenses based on each patient's lifestyle and visual requirements. • Educate patients about their eye health and prescription. • Advise patients on spectacle lens options, including varifocals. • Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout every consultation. • Support and develop the optical knowledge of the wider store team. • Assist with spectacle collections and quality checks where required. • Maintain the highest standards of clinical care and professionalism.
