The Role As the Resident Optometrist, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality eye examinations whilst creating an exceptional experience for every patient. Working closely with the Store Manager and wider team, you'll provide expert clinical advice, support the optical knowledge of colleagues and help patients find the most appropriate visual solutions for their lifestyle. This role offers the opportunity to work in a relaxed environment where personalised care is valued above rushed appointments. Key Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive eye examinations. • Recommend appropriate spectacle lenses based on lifestyle and visual needs. • Educate patients about their eye health and prescription. • Advise patients on lens options, including varifocals. • Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout every consultation. • Support and train members of the retail team with optical knowledge. • Assist with spectacle collections and quality checks where required. • Maintain the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.
