Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant
Remote | Full Time
Our client is an award-winning travel management company looking for an experienced Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant to join their growing Corporate Travel team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Travel Consultant who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service when clients need it most.
What will I be doing?
• Managing business travel bookings outside normal office hours.
• Booking and amending flights, hotels, rail, car hire and other travel arrangements.
• Providing emergency assistance and support to business travellers and repatriation clients.
• Working closely with the daytime team to ensure a seamless handover and exceptional customer service.
• Resolving complex travel issues quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Building strong relationships with clients and delivering an outstanding level of service at all times.
What experience do I need?
Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is essential.
• Experience using a GDS is essential (Galileo, Amadeus or similar).
• Excellent worldwide geography and airfare knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and make decisions with confidence.
• Available to attend a minimum two-week training programme onsite in the South of England
What else do I need to know?
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.
Shifts are worked across five days and include every Saturday and Sunday.
Weekend shifts are 08:00-16:30 or 13:30-22:00.
Midweek shifts are generally 13:30-22:00, with flexibility to cover other hours when required.
Once training has been completed, this role is fully remote.
