Outreach Worker - Westminster (SW1P 1LJ) Location: Westminster, London (SW1P 1LJ) Position: Outreach Worker Contract: Temporary Ongoing Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour + Holiday Pay We are currently recruiting for an Outreach Worker to join a dedicated homelessness service in Westminster on a temporary ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support professional who is passionate about helping people experiencing homelessness and supporting individuals with complex needs to engage with services and move towards sustainable accommodation. Key Responsibilities • Conduct outreach sessions to engage rough sleepers and vulnerable adults. • Build positive relationships with clients using a trauma-informed approach. • Complete needs and risk assessments and develop personalised support plans. • Support clients to access emergency accommodation, healthcare, benefits, and other essential services. • Work closely with local authorities, housing providers, health services, and partner agencies. • Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all records are updated in line with organisational procedures. • Promote independence and support clients towards long-term housing solutions. Requirements • Previous experience working within homelessness, outreach, supported housing, or floating support services. • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse, offending backgrounds, or rough sleeping. • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and risk management. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
