Job description

• To coordinate the ordering, monitoring and timely provision of home enteral feeding products and associated equipment, ensuring continuity of care for patients receiving nutritional support. • To contribute to the implementation and review of nutrition-related policies, procedures and clinical standards, supporting the delivery of safe and effective dietetic services. • To develop, deliver and evaluate training programmes for nurses and other healthcare professionals, promoting evidence-based nutritional practice across the multidisciplinary workforce. • To prepare and deliver educational resources and presentations that enhance understanding of paediatric nutrition for healthcare staff and other relevant audiences. • To maintain professional competence by regularly reviewing current research, participating in continuing professional development activities, engaging with relevant professional organisations and attending approved study days. • To contribute to service development initiatives by identifying opportunities for quality improvement, supporting audit activities and helping to enhance the effectiveness of the paediatric dietetic service.
