Painter & Decorator – Temporary Summer Role (School Setting) Location: Harrogate Pay Rate: £15.02 per hour Hours: Flexible, up to 35 hours per week Contract: Temporary (Summer Holidays) Role Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to support maintenance works within a school setting during the summer holiday period. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible work over the summer in a friendly and structured environment. Key Responsibilities • Carrying out internal painting and decorating across classrooms, corridors, and communal areas • Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment • Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times, particularly within a school setting Requirements • Previous experience in painting and decorating • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Reliable, punctual, and conscientious • Basic knowledge of health & safety practices • Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain (due to school environment) What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate of £15.02 • Flexible working hours (up to 35 hours per week) • Supportive working environment • Opportunity to gain experience in a school setting
