Job Title: Paraplanner Industry: Financial Planning / Financial Services Locations: Edgbaston / Warwick Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience) Job Description: Recruit UK are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing Independent Financial Advice firm within our Nationwide client. The purpose of this role is to work closely with Financial Planners to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and professional service to clients. You will play a key role in supporting the advice process by conducting research, producing suitability reports, and ensuring all recommendations meet regulatory and company standards. Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with Financial Planners to understand client objectives and assist Financial Services Administrators in gathering required information • Assist in identifying financial planning opportunities and sourcing suitable solutions, including preparation of tax calculations where required • Ensure all required compliance documentation is present and correct prior to submission of suitability reports • Prepare suitability reports and recommendations for Financial Planner approval in line with company policy • Prepare associated client documentation and ensure signed declarations and authorisations are in place prior to any transactions What’s in it for you? • Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience • Auto enrolment pension • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Group Life cover • Income protection • Company sick pay • Employee Assistance Programme • Financial wellbeing support Skills and Experience Required: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role within an Independent Financial Adviser • DipPFS qualified or equivalent Level 4 qualification • Experience working across a broad range of financial products • Strong understanding of the end-to-end financial planning process About Recruit UK: Recruit UK are specialists in financial services recruitment, offering deep market insight and access to a network of over 100,000 financial services professionals.
