Part-Time Caretaker

Our client is seeking a proactive and reliable part-time Caretaker to join their Almshouses team. Hours: 30 hours per week, working across a seven-day rota between 11:00am and 10:00pm Salary: £22,500 per annum (£14.35 per hour) This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who is confident working independently and enjoys being a visible and approachable presence within the community. You will play a key role in helping to keep the Village safe, well-maintained, and welcoming, responding to day-to-day needs and working closely with colleagues across the Trust to deliver a coordinated and high-quality service. As a regular presence around the Village, you will build positive relationships with residents, providing reassurance, excellent customer service, and clear communication. This role would suit someone who is practical, organised, and takes pride in supporting older people and maintaining a thriving community environment. The position involves both indoor and outdoor caretaking and maintenance duties across a beautiful 200-acre estate, including extensive woodland, gardens, and lakes. Working alongside a team of Maintenance Operatives, you will help ensure the estate and its facilities remain safe, attractive, and well-presented for residents and visitors alike.
