Payroll AdministratorLocation: Nottinghamshire Salary: Up to £32,000 Job Type: Full-time An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well-established organisation with a large UK workforce. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy payroll team, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting continuous improvements across payroll processes. Key Responsibilities: • Process multiple monthly payrolls for a large employee population, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. • Manage payroll changes including new starters, leavers, tax code amendments and manual payroll calculations. • Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and company sick pay. • Reconcile third-party deductions and issue statutory documentation, including P45s. • Complete payroll checks, exception reporting and ensure all payments are accurate before processing. • Respond to payroll queries via telephone and email, providing a professional and timely service. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and remain up to date with payroll legislation and best practice. About You: • A minimum of two years' payroll experience within a fast-paced environment. • Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, National Minimum Wage and statutory payments. • Confident completing manual payroll calculations. • Experience using ResourceLink or SAP would be highly advantageous. • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills. • Able to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • A proactive team player with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
