Job description

Payroll Administrator • Salary:Up to £32,000 - £38,000 • Location: Beaconsfield (Office-based during probation, then hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home) • Contract: Permanent • Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm The Role • Managing a portfolio of end-to-end client payrolls across weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly pay frequencies. • Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, statutory payments, RTI submissions, Auto-Enrolment, pension uploads and HMRC reconciliations. • Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries, building strong client relationships and ensuring payrolls are delivered accurately and on time. • Supporting the administration of Auto-Enrolment, including pension reconciliations, employee communications and compliance with The Pensions Regulator requirements. • Maintaining accurate payroll records, updating procedures, supporting the wider payroll team and contributing to the continued growth of the payroll bureau. Ideal Candidate • Minimum 2 years' payroll bureau or accountancy practice experience. • Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience managing multiple client payrolls simultaneously. • Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SPP, Auto-Enrolment and Benefits in Kind. • Organised, accurate and confident communicating directly with clients and HMRC. • Looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing accountancy practice that offers genuine career progression.
