Job description

Payroll Manager - EMEA | 3-6 Months | Manchester | £350 - £400 per day (inside IR35) For a leading global gaming company, we are recruiting an interim Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across the EMEA region, overseeing payroll delivery for 1000 employees across 15 countries. Partnering People, Finance, Country Partners, and the Payroll Provider (ADP), the interim Payroll Manager will deliver accurate and timely payroll, while driving continuous improvement across processes and systems. The Payroll Manager will line-manage a Payroll Officer and will be an active member of the EMEA Finance Leadership Team. Main Duties: • Lead end-to-end monthly payroll across 15 European countries, acting as main contact for outsourced payroll providers including ADP • Ensure payroll queries are managed and resolved, driving improvements to employee experience • Collaborate with in-country partners to ensure local compliance legislation, regulations and best-practice are maintained • Oversee the production, review and verification of payroll data and payslips for 1000 employees across the region • Validate and reconcile ADP outputs and support payroll balance sheet analysis • Monitor payroll controls, risks, and implement improvements to strengthen accuracy • Coach, mentor and develop a Payroll Officer, fostering a high-performing culture Person Specification: • Significant payroll management experience from EMEA / multiple European countries • Experience managing payroll operations within complex, multi-entity international organisation • Experience overseeing payroll delivery across multiple countries, legal entities, and employment models within the EMEA region • Experience with ADP and outsourced payroll providers including in-country partners • Strong UK and European payroll legislation, compliance and payroll governance • Experience processing off-cycle payrolls, salary adjustments and corrections • Knowledge of Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) processing and associated payroll and tax implications • Experience of UK pension administration ________ As an employer, we are committed to ensuring the representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
