Job description

Interim Payroll Specialist – Immediate Start (3 Months+) We are currently working with a highly reputable organisation within the tech sector who are looking to appoint an Interim Payroll Specialist on an immediate basis to provide cover during a period of leave. This is an initial 3-month assignment, with the potential for extension depending on business needs. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting the delivery of an accurate and timely end-to-end payroll process • Managing a manual payroll environment, ensuring all calculations and adjustments are processed correctly • Processing payroll using ADP (candidates must have prior experience with this system) • Handling employee payroll queries, providing clear and timely responses • Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll inputs • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls • Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting where required Key Requirements: • Proven experience working in a payroll position within a manual payroll environment • Strong working knowledge of ADP is essential – candidates without this experience will not be considered • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with employees and internal teams • Ability to start immediately and quickly get up to speed This is a great opportunity to join a well-regarded business and provide critical support to a busy payroll function.
