Job description

Equifind are working with an exciting hospitality business, who need some payroll support for the next 4-5 months, to join the London team. This company is a brand name in the high-end hospitality space with a wonderful reputation. If you are interested in working for a few months in this space and have a strong background in the world of payroll, then please read on. Key duties and responsibilities for this payroll supervisor position include: • Process weekly and monthly payrolls for employees across multiple hospitality locations across the UK • Accurately calculate pay, overtime, bonuses, holiday pay, sick pay, statutory payments, and deductions • Ensure payroll is completed within agreed deadlines and in accordance with company procedures • Validate payroll data and investigate discrepancies before final submission • Reconcile payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records • Review and process timesheets, attendance records, and labour data imported from Fourth • Process pension enrolment and pension submissions • Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies • Support payroll audits and provide relevant documentation as and when required • Act as the first point of contact for any payroll-related queries • Produce regular payroll reports for finance and senior management • Assist with month-end payroll reconciliations • Ad hoc projects as and when needed by senior management Experience & Qualifications • Have previous payroll administration experience, of a minimum 4 years’ experience, ideally within the hospitality sector • Working knowledge of Fourth software is ESSENTIAL • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and HMRC requirements • Have strong Microsoft Excel skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you’ll be dealing with multiple stakeholders • Show a high level of confidentiality and professionalism Daily Rate This splendid opportunity for a payroll supervisor will pay between £250-£350 per day, depending on your experience and background. We think this assignment will be for 4-5 months and ideally to start within the next week. Therefore, we will only look at candidates who are immediately available or on a weeks’ notice maximum. This is predominantly an office-based role, but we can look at candidates who need one day a week WFH.
