Initially, this role is expected to run from September until November 2026, with the potential to be extended. The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons while encouraging participation, confidence and personal development. The Role As a Teacher of PE, you will: • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4. • Inspire students to develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and healthy living. • Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities. • Plan, assess and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements. • Monitor and track student progress and attainment. • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment. • Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and enrichment activities. • Support school fixtures, competitions and sporting events. • Contribute to the wider life of the school and PE department. The Successful Candidate Will Have • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4. • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Physical Education. • The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities. • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. • The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
