Position Details: • Contract Type: Temporary • Contract Length: 3 months • Start Date: ASAP • End Date: October 12, 2026 • Working Pattern: Full Time • Hourly Rate: £25.64 • Driving Required: Yes - will need to go to the Corby office 1 day a week and then possibly Nuneaton Why Join Us? This is your chance to make a real impact! As a People Specialist, you will be the go-to person for managers, providing essential support and guidance on employee relations cases. You'll collaborate closely with a People Business Partner to support our IS&T Customer Experience and Corporate Finance teams, while also engaging with the Trade Union on-site. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a key point of contact for managers, guiding them through complex employee relations cases. • Handle disciplinary, grievance, and appeal cases with professionalism and care. • Build and maintain strong relationships with unions and employee bodies. • Support organisational design and change initiatives. • Mediate disputes and manage tribunal case handling when necessary. • Create and review People policies to ensure they meet best practises and legal compliance. • Upskill managers through effective training, coaching, and mentoring. • Roll out a People Services case management system to streamline processes. • Stay updated on Employment Law changes and ensure compliance. What We're Looking For: • Previous experience in Employee Relations is essential. • Familiarity with People systems is highly desirable. • Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written. • Strong stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to best practises.
