Performance Marketing Manager Richmond, London (2 days in office) Salary £40k-£60k DOE Forward Role are proud to be partnering with a leading group in the luxury Fashion space, serving customers worldwide through ecommerce and physical retail across two well-established brands. They're now investing heavily in growth and looking for a commercially-minded PPC specialist to own paid search strategy across the group - a £30m+ ecommerce operation with significant ad budgets and real influence over profitability. The Opportunity You'll be given genuine ownership of Google Ads strategy across two established brands, working closely with Trading, Ecommerce, CRM, and senior leadership to make sure every pound of spend is driving profitable growth rather than just topline revenue. This suits someone who thinks in contribution margin and CAC rather than vanity metrics. What You'll Be Doing Google Ads Management • Owning the Google Ads strategy across both brands, including Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Brand, Dynamic Search, YouTube, and Display remarketing • Continually refining account structure and campaign performance • Staying sharp on AI developments within Google Ads and beyond Profitability & Commercial Performance • Optimising campaigns against contribution margin, gross profit, ROAS, and CAC — not just revenue • Working closely with Trading teams to keep marketing activity aligned with stock availability and margin goals Feed & Merchant Centre Management • Managing Google Merchant Centre and driving product feed quality and optimisation • Ensuring stock, pricing, and promotional data stays accurate • Partnering with Ecommerce on feed enhancements and automation Cross-Brand Strategy • Spotting efficiency opportunities across both brands and reducing cannibalisation between them • Building strategies that maximise total group profitability, not just individual site performance • Identifying ways to reduce dependency on paid acquisition over time Data & Analytics • Analysing campaign performance and acquisition trends • Building meaningful reporting and dashboards • Working across Shopify, GA4, Merchant Centre, and reporting tools to keep measurement accurate Testing & Innovation • Running continuous tests across bidding strategies, creative, landing pages, product segmentation, and audience targeting • Leveraging AI and automation to push performance further • Keeping pace with changes across Google Ads and ecommerce marketing more broadly What We're Looking For Essential • 4+ years managing significant Google Ads budgets • Strong ecommerce PPC background • Hands-on experience with Shopping and Performance Max campaigns • Solid understanding of Google Merchant Centre • Advanced Excel and analytical skills • Strong grasp of attribution and conversion tracking • Confident using GA4 • A genuinely commercial mindset focused on profit, not vanity metrics • Meta Ads experience Desirable • Shopify experience • Luxury retail or fashion experience • Familiarity with feed management tools • Experience with platforms like Optmyzr • Experience managing international campaigns Why Apply This role comes with real scope: substantial budgets, direct access to senior leadership, and the chance to directly shape the growth and profitability of a combined luxury ecommerce group.
