Job description

Kapur Family Care is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our supportive team on a permanent basis for 46 sessions per week. Thursday and Friday are essential working days, with the remaining sessions arranged flexibly between Monday and Wednesday. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for a suitable candidate. The postholder will provide safe, effective and patient-centred primary care through face-to-face and telephone consultations. Duties include assessing and managing acute and long-term conditions, safe prescribing, appropriate referrals, accurate clinical record-keeping and one home visit per clinical day. Each clinical day consists of 14 morning and 14 afternoon appointments. The role has minimal routine administrative work and is supported by an experienced multidisciplinary and administrative team. The postholder will contribute to clinical governance, safeguarding, quality improvement, practice meetings and service development while working in accordance with NHS, GMC and practice policies. Applicants must: • Be fully registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practise. • Be included on, or eligible to join, the NHS England Medical Performers List. • Hold a recognised UK GP qualification or an accepted equivalent. • Have appropriate medical indemnity. • Meet NHS pre-employment, occupational health and DBS requirements. • Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork and commitment to high-quality patient care.
