Pharmacy Supply Assistant

Distribution: The Distribution section of the Pharmacy issues approximately 300,000 medicinal and pharmaceutical products annually to more than 500 locations within University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, Livewell South West, Devon Partnership Trust, Cornwall Foundation Partnership Trust and numerous non-NHS and commercial organisations. Distribution performs over 4,000 ward top-ups to approximately 50 wards/departments within University Hospitals Plymouth. Dispensary: This person is expected to accurately label and dispense approximately 200 prescription items daily. They are expected to participate in daily porting duties which include walking to wards and departments for up to 7 hours per day, delivering medicines. This may mean walking up to 10+ miles per day and a constant use of stairs.
