Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Philanthropy Manager role. This position involves developing high-quality funding proposals, impactful reports, and stewarding relationships with major donors, trusts, and foundations. It is integral to supporting the organisation’s growth and increasing high-value income.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the creation of compelling funding applications and donor-facing reports, ensuring clarity and impact.
• Manage and maintain relationships with major donors, trusts, foundations, and partner organisations through effective stewardship and engagement.
• Collaborate with fundraising, communications, research, and scientific colleagues to develop funding propositions and reports.
• Oversee impact reporting, ensuring the organisation's work is compellingly communicated to supporters and stakeholders.
• Support the development of high-value funding strategies aligned with organisational growth plans.
• Assist in maintaining accurate donor and funding databases, tracking engagement and income streams.
• Contribute to preparing materials for fundraising events and campaigns where appropriate.
Person Specification
• Proven experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, with a focus on major gift prospects.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with ability to produce clear, persuasive proposals and reports with minimal edits.
• Strong relationship management skills, capable of maintaining meaningful engagement with donors and funders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments, considering feedback and contributing to collective funding efforts.
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adaptable and proactive, with a passion for making a difference in the charity sector.
What’s on Offer
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
