Phlebotomist (Bournemouth)

• To carry out duties / responsibilities in accordance with the Trust and Directorate Policies, Protocols including Health and Safety Policies. • To greet patients in a courteous and professional manner. • To check the relevant details of patients requiring Pathology tests, resolving and outstanding difficulties. • Obtain by venepuncture or capillary sampling the correct blood specimens(s). • Ensure samples are correctly labelled, put into the correct containers and otherwise properly treated so as to be suitable for the analyses requested.
