Physician Associate

The successful applicant will work as part of our multidisciplinary team to: • Undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations. • Assess, investigate and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic illness within the Physician Associate scope of practice. • Develop management plans in collaboration with supervising GPs. • Perform clinical examinations and procedures appropriate to the role. • Request and interpret investigations in accordance with local protocols. • Participate in chronic disease management and preventative healthcare. • Work closely with our wider clinical team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, mental health practitioners and social prescribing teams. • Contribute to quality improvement projects and service development. • Participate in clinical meetings, education sessions and multidisciplinary working.
