We are seeking passionate and dedicated PMLD Lecturers to join our Foundation Studies programmes. PMLD Lecturer - Foundation Studies • Job Type: Full-time & Part-time • Location: North, East, South, West London • Salary: £25-£40ph Day-to-Day of the Role PMLD Lecturer • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons to mixed-age groups with varying abilities, focusing on learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Enhanced Learning Difficulties (ELD), and other complex learning needs. • Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that fosters independence, communication skills, and confidence. • Plan and deliver inclusive and differentiated learning programmes tailored to individual learner needs. • Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records. • Work collaboratively with support staff and multidisciplinary teams. • Promote safeguarding and learner wellbeing at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications for the PMLD Lecturer role: • Degree in a relevant subject area or a minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial Foundation Learning teaching experience. • Experience teaching learners with ASD, SLD, and PMLD within a Further Education setting. • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • Commitment to supporting learners with complex needs.
