Post Completion Assistant - Property Liverpool
£23,000- £28,000 (depending on experience)
The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a well-regarded Liverpool law firm seeking a Post Completion Assistant to join its established property team.
This is a key support role within the Post Completion department, working closely with the Post Completion Manager and fee earners across both residential and commercial transactions. You'll be responsible for helping ensure that matters are completed accurately, lender requirements are met, and registrations are processed within required timescales.
Key Responsibilities
• Submitting applications to HM Land Registry (transfers, leases, charges, discharges)
• Handling Land Registry requisitions within required deadlines
• Preparing and serving Notices to Freeholders / Management Companies, including arranging payments
• Registering and redeeming mortgages in line with lender requirements
• Monitoring lender portals, downloading offers, and uploading supporting documentation
• Tracking outstanding matters and managing key dates (including OS1 deadlines)
• Liaising with lenders, clients, and HM Land Registry
• Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems
• Closing files in line with firm procedures and compliance requirements
• Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML, and internal policies
• Supporting fee earners with post completion queries
• Assisting the Post Completion Manager and escalating complex matters where necessary
