Post Completion AssistantDepartment: Post Completion Location: Liverpool The OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a reputable law firm in Liverpool seeking a Post Completion Assistant to join their established property team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to support the Post Completion Manager and wider team with post completion matters across residential and commercial property transactions. You will play a key role in ensuring files are finalised accurately, lender requirements are satisfied, and registrations are completed within required timescales. Key Responsibilities • Submitting applications to HM Land Registry, including transfers, leases, discharges, and charges • Handling Land Registry requisitions efficiently and within deadlines • Preparing and serving Notices to Freeholders and/or Management Companies, including arranging payments • Registering and redeeming mortgages in line with lender requirements • Closing files in accordance with firm procedures and compliance standards • Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems • Liaising with lenders, clients, and HM Land Registry • Monitoring lender portals, downloading mortgage offers, and uploading supporting documentation • Tracking outstanding matters and managing key dates, including OS1 deadlines • Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML, and internal policies • Supporting fee earners with post completion queries • Providing cover and assistance to the Post Completion Manager as required • Escalating complex issues appropriately About You • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently • Reliable, professional, and highly organised • A team player with a positive and flexible approach • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads • Willing to support colleagues and contribute to team success • Eager to learn and develop knowledge in post completion processes • Confident in following procedures and recognising when to escalate What's on Offer • Opportunity to join a well-regarded law firm • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Career development and training opportunities • Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
