Powder Coater/Warehouse (Bendi Driver)

Powder Coating / Warehouse Operative (Bendi FLT)ASC Connections are currently recruiting for a Powder Coating / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position combining production support with warehouse duties, including operating a Bendi (Flexi) forklift truck. The role would suit someone reliable, physically fit, and confident following detailed instructions. Shift Pattern: • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm • Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm • Flexibility is essential - hours and shifts may vary depending on business needs, including weekend work • Overtime available Key Responsibilities: • Supporting powder coating and production operations • Operating a Bendi FLT to move stock and materials • Loading, unloading, and organising goods within the warehouse • Following written instructions, including carrying out basic calculations • Handling products and materials (involving regular heavy lifting) • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety • Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines What We're Looking For: • Valid, in-date Bendi (Flexi) Forklift Licence • Good English and Maths skills • Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately • Physically fit and capable of heavy and repetitive lifting • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to work well within a team • Flexible approach to working hours What's On Offer: • Starting pay of £12.71 per hour • Pay review after successful 12-week probation • Excellent overtime rates (up to double time on Sundays!) • Early finish every Friday • Long-term opportunity within a stable business ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
