To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients attending the practice, working in line with professional standards, clinical guidelines, and practice policies to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care. Key responsibilities Clinical responsibilities Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients across the practice population. Carry out chronic disease management reviews in accordance with national and local guidance. Administer immunisations and vaccinations in line with current protocols and best practice. Undertake cervical screening where appropriately trained and competent.Support health promotion and disease prevention activities. Assist patients in the management of long-term conditions, encouraging self-care and improved health outcomes. Participate in routine screening programmes and NHS Health Checks. Recognise, assess, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, following practice procedures and escalation pathways.
