Job Description To provide a range of high quality general nursing services and specialist nursing advice and care to patients. Main duties and responsibilities include • Working autonomously • Assisting with long term disease management • Leg ulcer management • Wound management • Child and adult immunisations • Child health/child protection • Cervical cytology • Travel advice and vaccinations • Health promotion • Learning Disability Reviews • Emergency management anaphylaxis and resuscitation techniques • Performing ECGs • Venepuncture and requesting pathology testing • NHS Health Checks • Infection control • Chaperoning • Keeping clinical rooms tidy and stocked • Ordering of supplies as necessary • Attend and participate in clinical and practice meetings when required • Proactive in identifying own needs for personal and professional development • Aware of the responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients staff and visitors • Ensure all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with any current quality initiatives • Provide patient care in accordance with current PGDs and clinical protocols • Any other duties as required Job description Job responsibilities Job Description To provide a range of high quality general nursing services and specialist nursing advice and care to patients.
