We are looking for a Preceptorship Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Preceptorship Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) with a current/upcoming UK Pin number and a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, across days, nights & weekends making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes. Cygnet Bury Dunes provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and emergency admission services. Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir. Your Day-to-Day… • Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations • Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality • Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing • Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals. • Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines You are… • Open, comp assionate, honest & resilient • Newly Qualified RMN / RNLD with a current valid registration/upcoming registration. • Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits • Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices • Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk • Helping to empower & support service user independence Why Cygnet?
