Pricing clerk Freight

We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Clerk to join a well-established freight forwarding company. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous freight forwarding and pricing experience looking to join a friendly and growing team. Duties Include: • Obtaining rates from airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and suppliers. • Preparing air and sea freight quotations for customers and overseas agents. • Handling spot quotes, RFQs, and tender requests. • Negotiating competitive rates with suppliers. • Building and maintaining relationships with customers and overseas partners. • Creating and updating tariffs and pricing sheets. • Liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate quotations. • Supporting business development activities where required. • Attending supplier and customer meetings when needed. Requirements: • Previous experience within freight forwarding pricing or quotations. • Knowledge of air freight and sea freight. • Good communication and negotiation skills. • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills. • Ability to work in a busy office environment. • CargoWise experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
