Job description

About the roleTradewind Recruitment is partnering with primary schools across Brent to find an experienced Year 5 Teacher for September 2026. Positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis. Year 5 is a pivotal year of preparation. You will deliver the KS2 National Curriculum with high expectations across reading, writing, mathematics and the wider curriculum, building pupils' independence, analytical thinking and academic resilience ahead of Year 6. You will monitor and respond to pupil progress data, deliver targeted interventions where needed, and work collaboratively with teaching assistants and SENCO colleagues to ensure every pupil - including those with SEND and EAL - is stretching towards their potential.
