This is an excellent opportunity to work in a thriving Hounslow primary school while supporting a small group of pupils with Autism. You do not need to be a specialist SEN teacher-the school is keen to hear from confident mainstream teachers in Hounslow who are passionate about inclusive education and are eager to develop their SEN experience. The RoleAs a Primary Teacher in Hounslow, you will: • Teach a small class within the school's well-established ASD Provision. • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. • Support pupils with Autism and additional needs to achieve both academically and socially. • Work alongside experienced Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and the wider inclusion team. • Create a calm, positive and nurturing learning environment. • Play an active role within the wider Hounslow school community. The Ideal CandidateThe successful Primary Teacher will have: • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching within a UK primary school. • A passion for inclusive education. • The ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs. • Previous SEN or Autism experience is desirable but not essential. • A positive, patient and resilient approach to teaching. • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
