Key Responsibilities • Exemplary Curriculum Architecture: Synthesise and execute intellectually stimulating lesson sequences aligned with the National Curriculum, deploying evidence-based strategies to stretch high-ability pupils while scaffolding support for all learners. • Synergistic Team Management: Provide clear, strategic direction to classroom Teaching Assistants, optimising their deployment to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and English as an Additional Language (EAL). • Cultivation of an Optimal Learning Ethos: Establish a structured, positive, and distraction-free classroom culture rooted in mutual respect, clear operational routines, and emotional security. • Proactive Stakeholder Alliances: Maintain professional, transparent, and regular communications with parents, guardians, and the Senior Leadership Team regarding academic benchmarks and pastoral development. • Institutional Collaboration: Contribute meaningfully to phase planning groups, whole-school standardisation panels, action-research initiatives, and community engagement events. Candidate Specification • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS):Mandatory. A verified track record of successful classroom leadership within the UK primary sector.
