Private Client Paralegal – Mansfield, Progression Opportunity Are you looking to build your career within a respected and progressive law firm that genuinely invests in its people? Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Start Date: Available immediately, subject to notice period. The Role As a Private Client Paralegal, you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of high-quality legal services to a diverse client base. Working closely with experienced fee earners, you will gain exposure to a broad range of private client matters while developing your technical knowledge and practical skills. Key responsibilities will include: • Assisting fee earners with the day-to-day management of Private Client matters. • Supporting and, where appropriate, independently progressing files relating to Probate, Estate Administration, Wills, Trusts and Inheritance Tax. • Drafting legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. • Managing client communications and providing a consistently high standard of service. • Maintaining electronic and physical case files, ensuring records remain organised and up to date. • Diary management and monitoring key dates and deadlines. • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently. • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues and external contacts. • Contributing positively to team objectives and the continued success of the department. About You The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and client-focused, with a genuine interest in developing a career within Private Client law. You will enjoy working in a busy environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are highly valued. Applicants should possess: • GCSE Grade C/Level 5 or above in English and Mathematics. • A Law Degree or equivalent legal qualification. • Previous experience within a Private Client environment, particularly assisting with Probate and Estate Administration matters, would be advantageous. • A genuine interest in supporting clients through significant life events and planning for the future. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail. • Good numeracy skills and confidence handling financial information. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. • A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
