The Opportunity You will manage a diverse and rewarding private client caseload covering a broad range of matters, including estate planning, trusts, probate, inheritance tax planning and succession arrangements. You will advise a loyal client base across Wiltshire and the South West, including clients with complex UK and international asset structures. Key Responsibilities • Advising on Wills, estate planning and succession planning • Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and wealth preservation strategies • Drafting, establishing and administering trusts • Probate matters and complex estate administration • Advising High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs and farming clients • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) • Tax-efficient estate structuring • Providing tailored private client advice to individuals and families Candidate Requirements To be considered for this Private Client Solicitor role, you should have: • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) • Minimum 5 years' PQE within Private Client law • Strong technical knowledge of trusts, probate and inheritance tax planning • Experience managing your own private client caseload • Excellent client relationship and communication skills • Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment Desirable Skills • STEP qualification • Working towards STEP accreditation • Experience advising High Net Worth clients • Agricultural, rural or landed estate experience Full support is available for candidates pursuing STEP qualifications and ongoing professional development.
