NQ Private Client Solicitor • Annual Salary: £45,000–£55,000 • Location: Leatherhead • Job Type: Full-time, Office-based with flexible working options An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor to join a highly reputable and well-established team in Leatherhead. This role is ideal for an ambitious junior lawyer seeking hands-on exposure, direct client contact, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a supportive and collaborative environment. Day-to-day of the role: • Drafting Wills and lasting powers of attorney. • Handling estate administration, probate work, and inheritance tax considerations. • Managing trust creation and administration. • Working on elderly client matters and Court of Protection issues. • Advising families, individuals, and business owners on succession planning. • Assisting with business development and maintaining strong client relationships. • Enjoying a varied and interesting caseload with autonomy from day one, supported by experienced colleagues. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly) with a seat in Private Client. • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach. • Proactive mindset and eagerness to develop expertise in trusts, tax, and estate planning. • Values a warm, inclusive workplace and enjoys building client relationships. • STEP qualification or intent to work toward STEP is a bonus, not essential.
