As Private Client Tax Manager, you will take full ownership of a varied portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates, delivering expert compliance and advisory services across a broad range of complex personal tax matters whilst working closely with partners on more strategically significant assignments. Key Responsibilities • Managing a portfolio of private clients including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates • Delivering expert advice across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax • Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and overseeing the compliance process • Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships as a key point of contact • Mentoring and supporting the development of junior members of the tax team • Liaising with HMRC on client matters including enquiries and investigations Requirements • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong private client tax background • At least five years' experience working within a UK Practice environment • Proven experience managing a portfolio of HNW private clients with technical accuracy and confidence • Strong knowledge of UK personal tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident client-facing manner • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines effectively
