As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and enhancing process safety standards across a key manufacturing site based in Kingston Upon Hull.

Description
The Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for, however not limited to;
• Providing specialist technical support across process safety within site operations and capital projects
• Leading and facilitate process hazard analyses, including HAZOP, LOPA, and Process Risk Assessments
• Supporting and govern Management of Change (MoC) processes to ensure effective risk mitigation
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to embed best-in-class process safety tools and methodologies
• Driving improvements in process safety performance, risk reduction, and asset reliability
• Leading or supporting incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Ensuring delivery of risk assessments and associated actions in line with agreed timelines
• Developing and implement performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and governance structures to strengthen safety performance
Profile
A successful Process Safety Engineer should have:
• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven knowledge of process safety principles and regulations.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential risks.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Offer
• Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
