Job description

Responsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a leading uPVC manufacturing company who are looking for a Production Operative to join their team. As a Production Operative, you will be working alongside the rest of the warehouse & production teams to produce components for the assembly of items. This is a busy production environment where attention to detail is vital. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:45. Salary: £12.71 per hour. Key Responsibilities • Manufacturing & Assembly • Assisting in the fabrication of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors • Working across various production stages within a batch manufacturing environment • Operating machinery and tools including: - Pneumatic hand tools -Saws and cutting equipment - Corner cleaners - Milling machines - Crimping equipment • Production Support • Following technical instructions and production specifications • Ensuring all products meet quality standards • Quality & Accuracy • Housekeeping & following Health and Safety proceedures Training & Development • Full on-the-job training will be provided • Opportunity to progress within different areas of the factory • Development into a skilled fabricator role over time Key Skills & Experience • Must have previous experience of working in a factory or production environment. • Good attention to detail. • Strong communication & organisation skills. • Experience with the use of hand tools is an advantage. • Knowledge of uPVC or aluminium production products would be an advantage but not essential.
