Production Supervisor (Energy from Waste) £50,000 + Healthcare + Benefits Location - Hull, Goole, Scunthorpe, Selby, York and Surrounding Areas Are you Production Supervisor from energy from waste, oil & gas or industrial manufacturing background? Do you have experience supervising production, manufacturing, process operations or plant teams and want to progress your career within the thriving Renewable Energy industry? This company is one of the largest operators of Anaerobic Digestion plants across the UK and, over recent years, has experienced significant growth following its continued success within the sector. They are now looking for a motivated Production Supervisor to join their expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day production activities at one of the company's Biogas production plants, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the site. You will lead and support plant operators, coordinate production activities, monitor plant performance and help drive continuous improvements to maximise plant efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Plant Supervisor or similar role. They will also be eager to learn and motivated to develop their career by taking the next step into the Renewable Energy sector. The Role: • Supervising the day-to-day operation of a biogas production facility, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance. • Leading, supporting and coordinating production and operational staff across the site. • Monitoring plant processes, identifying operational issues and implementing improvements to maximise efficiency and reliability. • Ensuring production activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety, environmental and company compliance standards. • Assisting with maintenance planning, operational reporting and achieving site production KPIs. The Person: • Production Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Plant Supervisor or similar position. • Experience leading operational or production teams within a manufacturing, process, utilities, waste, recycling or industrial environment. • A proven track record of improving operational performance and achieving production KPIs. • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. • A proactive approach with a commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement. • Full UK driving licence. • Experience within Anaerobic Digestion, Renewable Energy or Process Plant environments (desirable). • WAMITAB qualification (desirable).
