Job description

An Electro-Mechanical Technician with experience of working within a High-Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Manufacturing environment; with good assembly, soldering and wiring experience as well as good fault-finding abilities, will join the production team of an award-winning Technology Company. The Electro-Mechanical Technician role will focus on the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation. The Electro-Mechanical Technician should bring the following skills & experience: • An Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industrial experience. • Proficiency in electromechanical assembly techniques including soldering, wiring and cable/harness assembly. • PCB repair skills. • Good fault-finding and debugging skills. • An understanding of clean room techniques. • The ability to read schematics. • An understanding of SolidWorks or similar mechanical design software and appreciation of electronic principles.
