Job description

About The RoleFDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Programme Manager to work for our client within the healthcare sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London. Our client is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of the PAS-X programme through Design/Build and into SIT. You will be accountable for delivery across a 13-site upgrade and new-site deployments, leading a multi-workstream team, managing the systems integrator and vendor relationships, and owning delivery outcomes against scope, schedule and the c. £20M budget. You will operate at pace in a newly launched programme, setting the delivery structure and cadence, and representing the programme credibly at steering committee and executive level. Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end delivery of the programme through the Design/Build phase and into SIT readiness for Q1 2027 • Lead and coordinate workstreams across the 13-site upgrade and new-site deployments, including a new international manufacturing site • Manage vendor and systems integrator delivery, holding partners to account on scope, quality and milestones • Own the integrated programme plan, deployment sequencing and critical path, working closely with the programme PMO • Hold delivery accountability for the c. £20M budget: scope control, change management and benefits tracking • Chair programme governance forums and present at steering committee, executive report-outs and funding release gates • Own escalation and resolution of cross-workstream risks, issues and dependencies • Build strong relationships with site leadership, functional stakeholders and global technology teams across time zone About You • Proven track record delivering large, multi-site technology or transformation programmes (c. £15-20M+), ideally within manufacturing, supply chain or a regulated environment • Strong experience managing systems integrators and software vendors on enterprise delivery • Demonstrable phase leadership through design, build and test cycles, including SIT planning and entry/exit criteria • Commercial and financial acumen: budget ownership, change control and stage-gated funding models • Gravitas and credibility at executive and steering committee level, with strong facilitation and communication skills • Experience leading matrixed, multi-country teams and deployment rollouts across a site network • Structured delivery approach with the flexibility to establish governance in a newly mobilised programme Desirable • Experience of MES, ERP or shop-floor systems programmes (PAS-X or Körber exposure a plus, not essential) • Delivery experience in GxP or other regulated manufacturing environments • Experience of greenfield site deployments or factory start-ups About UsFDM is an award-winning global leader in tech and business talent solutions, backed by more than 35 years of industry experience.
