Job Description: Lettings Administrator Location: North London Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Lettings Administrator to join our busy and expanding lettings team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with property administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional and customer-focused estate agency environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the lettings process from tenancy progression through to tenancy renewals and end-of-tenancy administration, ensuring compliance requirements are met and delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants. Key Responsibilities • Handle lettings enquiries via telephone and email. • Maintain accurate client, property, landlord, and tenant records. • Prepare tenancy agreements and related tenancy documentation. • Arrange tenancy renewals and extension agreements. • Coordinate tenant referencing and Right to Rent documentation. • Book and monitor EPCs, Gas Safety Certificates, and Electrical Safety Inspections. • Liaise with landlords, tenants, contractors, and third-party providers. • Manage key sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintain key records. • Assist with tenancy deposit registration and end-of-tenancy deposit releases. • Respond to and resolve tenant and landlord queries efficiently. • Ensure compliance documentation is up to date and correctly filed. • Perform general administrative and data entry duties. • Support the wider lettings team with day-to-day operational tasks. Skills and Experience Required Essential • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Property Administrator or Lettings Administrator role. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong organisational and time-management skills. • Professional and confident telephone manner. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly: Excel, Outlook and Word • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Methodical, reliable, and proactive approach to work. Desirable • Experience using Alto property management software. • Experience using Goodlord tenancy progression software. • Understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
