Property Litigator Birmingham | Hybrid | £50,000 - £65,000 GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are proud to be partnered with an award winning, successful law firm in Birmingham. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Property Litigator to join a growing Dispute Resolution team. Candidates with approximately 2–5 years' post-qualification experience are encouraged to apply; however, this is intended as a guideline only. Applications from individuals with a different level of PQE will also be welcomed where they can demonstrate the relevant expertise, technical ability and commitment to the role. This is a full-time position based at their Birmingham office, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements available for the right candidate. The Role: • The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including: • Residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes, acting for both landlords and tenants. • Boundary and neighbour disputes. • A broad range of property-related contentious matters. • TOLATA claims. • Professional negligence claims arising from property transactions and advice. • Supporting the wider Commercial Litigation team on general dispute resolution matters where required. Skills and Experience • Strong technical knowledge across property litigation matters. • Experience using case management systems and standard office software, including Word, Excel and PDF-based applications. • Advocacy experience and confidence representing clients where appropriate. • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and managing client expectations professionally. • An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the firm's litigation practice. • The ability to build upon the team's established reputation and maintain high standards of service delivery. As this role involves regular interaction with clients, strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable working under supervision, meeting deadlines and contributing positively to a supportive and high-performing dispute resolution team.
