Property Manager

Nexus Recruitment have been instructed by a small but growing property management firm in Southampton. Our client are looking for an experienced or ambitious Block Property Manager to come on board and oversee their own leasehold portfolio. Core responsibilities: • Day to day management of a portfolio of properties, mainly medium sized blocks of flats • Overseeing section 20 major works with support from your Head of Property Management • Setting and managing service charge budgets • Attending site visits, and conducting H&S checks and AGMs • Dealing with leaseholder/customer queries This is an ideal role for a candidate looking to get into Block Management and stay there long term, our client values ambition, enthusiasm and longevity. The following skillset/qualifications are preferred: • Previous experience in Block Management is preferred but not essential • A proven track record in Real estate is essential, whether it’s Property Management or Lettings • A charismatic personality, able to fit well and work within a small, collaborative team • Able to attend the office 3 or 4 times a week • A full UK driving license with access to own car What’s on offer? • A salary of up to £32,000pa • Full one on one training with the Head of Property Management • A supportive environment, giving you the best step up in your career • TPI qualification sponsorship Nexus Recruitment are Real Estate specialists, supporting with various level appointments across Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors across the UK.
