Location: Whitley Bay
Salary: £25,500 - £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established property business in Whitley Bay who are looking to recruit an organised and customer-focused Property Manager to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administration, customer service or property management experience who enjoys building relationships, managing a varied workload and delivering exceptional service to landlords, tenants and contractors.
Working as part of a busy office-based team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard and tenancy matters are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio of residential properties on behalf of landlords.
• Acting as the main point of contact for tenants, landlords and contractors.
• Coordinating property maintenance and repair works from initial report through to completion.
• Arranging contractor visits and obtaining quotations where required.
• Conducting regular property inspections and producing detailed reports.
• Managing tenancy renewals, property compliance and maintenance schedules.
• Handling tenant queries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensuring all properties remain compliant with current legislation and safety requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records, property files and internal systems.
• Liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Supporting the wider property management team with administrative duties as required.
Person Specification
Essential
• Previous experience within property management, lettings, estate agency, administration or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Professional and confident telephone manner.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy office environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
• Previous experience managing residential properties.
• Understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
