Property Solicitor

Join a friendly, growing practice as a Property Solicitor where you’ll manage an existing caseload, own your matters end-to-end, and deliver exceptional client care. You’ll lead on residential & commercial property files from instruction to completion, with opportunities to broaden into landlord and tenant, and refinance/security work. You’ll work closely with supportive colleagues and a modern, cloud-based case management system to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients from diverse backgrounds. Duties & Responsibilities • Run a busy, varied residential property caseload from start to finish (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity) • Progress matters efficiently using a modern cloud-based case management system • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and ancillary documents with precision • Conduct due diligence, title checks, searches, and report on findings to clients • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties to keep matters on track • Manage key deadlines, risk, compliance, and file housekeeping to SRA standards • Support and, where appropriate, lead on commercial property, landlord/tenant, and refinance/security instructions • Contribute to client development, referrals, and the growth of the department and firm Requirements Must-have: • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ–3 PQE considered) with strong property experience • Proven ability to handle residential property matters end-to-end • Strong technical drafting, attention to detail, and file management discipline • Excellent communication and client care skills, with a proactive, solutions-led approach • Competent with cloud-based case management systems and digital workflows Nice-to-have: • Exposure to commercial property, landlord and tenant, and refinance/security work • A following or referrer relationships is advantageous but not essential • Comfortable in a collaborative, supportive team environment Why Join Us • Quality work: Step into an active caseload with varied, interesting matters • Growth path: Genuine opportunities to expand into commercial property and develop your profile • Modern setup: Cloud-based systems and streamlined processes to help you do your best work • Supportive culture: Friendly team, open-door leadership, and shared success For further details please contact Natalie Mayger at The Recruiter Specialists.
