Protection Adviser London Are you an experienced Protection Adviser looking for a consistent flow of mortgage-linked clients, the autonomy to manage your own day and the support of a high-performing team? We’re partnering with a highly regarded specialist brokerage that has built its reputation through excellent service, a personable culture and long-standing team relationships. You’ll work closely with a high-achieving group of Mortgage Advisers and be introduced to clients early in their mortgage journey, giving you the opportunity to provide meaningful protection advice while becoming a trusted part of the overall client experience. The Role • Contact clients promptly following warm introductions from multiple Mortgage Advisers. • Provide tailored advice across life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection and relevant life solutions. • Review existing protection arrangements and identify any gaps in cover. • Build strong working relationships with the mortgage team to maximise client engagement. • Manage your own pipeline and deliver a responsive, professional service. • Maintain accurate records and ensure advice meets FCA and Consumer Duty requirements. • Work with the administration team, who will support case progression and back-office requirements. What we’re looking for? • At least one year’s experience providing regulated Protection Advice. • A strong understanding of mortgage-related protection products. • Knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty. • R05 qualification or equivalent. • A self-directed, organised and commercially focused approach. • The confidence to manage client relationships without close supervision. • A personable team player who enjoys working in a busy, performance-led environment. What’s on offer? • This is a self-employed opportunity with uncapped earnings. • An initial guaranteed income for 3 months can be available for the right person. • Realistic first-year OTE of £60,000+, with scope to reach £70,000–£80,000 in year two (uncapped). • Competitive tiered commission structure with no payaways, allowing you to retain your full agreed commission • Consistent mortgage-linked client introductions with no requirement to self-generate leads • Early involvement in the mortgage process, supported by existing client information • Full administration and back-office support. • Initial office-based onboarding followed by hybrid flexibility once established. • Autonomy to manage your workload without micromanagement. • Laptop and phone provided. • Supportive colleagues, team lunches and company social events.
