Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Rochdale Location: Rochdale Start Date: September Contract: Full-Time | Long-term Aspire People are seeking a motivated and passionate Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rochdale. This role is available immediately and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with potential for extension. This position is ideal for a psychology graduate who already has some experience working with children, or for someone considering a future in teaching and looking to build practical classroom skills. Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - About the Role * Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classrooms * Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative lessons * Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, applying your understanding of psychology to support their progress * Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions * Play an active role in contributing to a positive and supportive school environment This is a full-time opportunity, with the possibility of a longer-term placement for the right individual. Selected candidates will be invited to attend a paid trial day within the school. Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject * Recent experience working with children (school experience is advantageous) * Confidence in supporting small group learning and interventions * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * A proactive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners Interested?
